This is a great app! Ive learned a lot from using it. Im learning Russian, and the program is very helpful!

I love being able to have multiple language courses all in one app. The photo based courses are like Rosetta Stone for a fraction of the cost. The photos and pronunciations are great for learning quickly. My only suggestion would be to add more of a variety of quiz questions types like L-Lingo does. For example, rather than all questions just being a photo and pronunciation, some questions could have no photos. Just the words to see if the user can remember. Or no words and just pronunciation to really test the listening. Etc. Other than that, its a great app!

Ive spent a lot of money on this app, purchasing almost all of the Spanish lessons. For one, Im not happy that theres ads in the app after Ive bought in app purchases. Considering the developer raised the prices on the Spanish lessons from $0.99 a lesson to $2.99 and $3.99 a lesson, the ads should be GONE once a purchase is made. Until the ads are removed, this app gets a 1 star rating from me, no matter how great it is.

Minor voice recognition issues aside, a great program. Getting the all-access pass was a great choice, and I am very pleased at the cost for the quality. I highly suggest it, especially as the first level is free. See if it works for you.

Similar concept to the rosetta stone software, but at throwaway prices and immensely accessible on the iPad! This software also uses dynamic immersion, and teaching style is very similar to Rosetta Stone, however you dont feel like a baby using it. Some issues however: text size is too small (at least for arabic courses) and you can hardly read the text properly. Theres not enough repetition within the program, so you have to make sure to retake the lessons again, else you forget everything moving to the next lesson. Persian / Dari language is still missing. Regards.

This app is great! It is just like Rosetta Stone but way cheaper and since it is on my phone I can take it with me wherever I go. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE!!!! Also its really fun and you pick up the language easily AND 1st 4 lessons are free. The rest is $14.99 compared to Rosetta Stone $500.

UPDATE: they put Hindi on and so far this is great thankyou so much for responding very speedy response! I originally got this app because it says it contains a Hindi coureese but low and behold it does not. It also says it has a Hebrew course which it also does not......... Whats up doc? If you didnt say ya had it I wouldnt care but please if you have a Hindi course I would very much appreciate it Id even pay double!

I bought this For my 9 yo dd who is studying German. Weve both enjoyed it for various reasons. It provides good vocab practice and allows her to practice pronunciation in a fun way. Now, for my big concern and the reason she may not be allowed to play this again. In the first unit, there was a picture of a man in his underwear. It was very strange and not necessary but we endured and just laughed at it. Shes now in level two and, the vocab words for magazine and book come up. The magazine has a woman ink a bikini drinking what is, no doubt, a mixed drink and the tattered book has a woman with the words "Bite Me." The title of the book is BOYS WHO BITE. Come on! Thankfully, my 9 yo turned it off and told me about it. There is no need to have such questionable things imbedded in the app. Ive now paid $15 for an app that we may never use.

I was pretty skeptical of learning just by pictures and speech, but it turns out they have the items written as well (in the original script as well as English transliterations). the language selection is great and definitely rivals Rosetta Stones method (and price!). Overall, extremely content with the app so far. I hope theyre quick with language additions/updates!

It was okay but some of the pictures are inappropriate and you might wanna change some of them. Just saying. Also adding cartoon images can be good for children. I bought the whole french pack and so far so good. Just please change those inappropriate images!

This app is great and is very similar to Rosetta Stone. Obviously not as comprehensive, but for the price, you cant beat it!

Using app to learn Cantonese. Very nicely done, but wish traditional Chinese characters was an option.

Very reminiscent of Rosetta stone. While the interface is not quite as streamlined, and the activities could offer a little more variety, the method of teaching new vocabulary and sentence structure based on deductive reasoning rather than vocabulary lists and rote memorization is quickly proving to be the most effective, and least discouraging way to learn a language. My recommendation to the developers, make the fonts for the written words at the top larger, so that the word stands out. A little louder audio and try cleaning up some of the pictures to creat a more uniform look (some of the images were much higher resolution than others, some have watermarks where it appears they were copied from another source etc..) otherwise I like the app a lot and would recommend it to anyone trying to learn a language on their iPad

I noticed there were free beginner versions of most languages but Hebrew. Its difficult to trial if it is not there.

I really like this application. It has taught me some new words and I think that it is great that it teaches with pictures. Although, I have to say that a friend or two, whom Ive showed it to, said that it was far too fast paced. So its very useful to the person who already has some grasp of the Arabic language.

This app shows poor performance. Nothing in it persuades me to shell out some hefty change. It is less useful than some of the budget language apps that I have on my desktop.

I use this app to learn Vietnamese. There are some great features for customization of the language stacks including the ability to change pictures text and audio. Great tool to learn another language with so many to choose from. Its fairly accurate as well. My girlfriend is fluent in Vietnamese and has validated that. A translate feature would be nice for some of the words / phrases that I have trouble with. That aside I use this app daily.
